Community Partners at

The Work Station

All throughout the year, representatives of several local agencies come to The Work Station so that they will be easily available to our clients and all Athens County residents. Some of the Community Partners are at The Work Station for a few days every week, while others are less frequently. If you wish to speak to one of these partners, please come in and see them. Appointments are appreciated, but are not required. Listed below are the Community Partners who are at The Work Station regularly. Others also hold special meetings and events at The Work Station throughout the year.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
Representatives from the Ohio Department of Job and Family services are available at The Work Station several days each week to meet with area residents.  For more information contact The Work Station at (740) 797-1405; or visit the Ohio Means Jobs website.

Veterans Services
A Veterans Representative is at The Work Station on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays of most weeks. Veterans may also use the Veterans Electronic Ready Access Network at The Work Station to speak to a Veterans Representative in Columbus Monday through Friday.

Tri-County Adult Career Center
A representative from the Tri-County Adult Career Center visits The Work Station often to talk with area residents about different educational and job training programs available to them. Area residents are asked to call The Work Station or Tri-County Adult Career Center to make an appointment with the representative.

Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation
A representative from the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation visits The Work Station regularly to talk with area residents about the programs. Area residents are asked to make appointments to speak to the representative.
